Ati

In a world where many career paths are limited to performing tasks and gaining experience, sometimes stories emerge that go beyond a simple job. Ati’s story (a pseudonym) is one of thesenarratives; a story of growth, meaning, and finding a true place within a bigger purpose.

Ati is a graduate of Computer Science. After graduating in 2021, she entered the job market andworked in several companies as a website designer. She has designed around eight websites andhas been involved in the world of technology and design from the beginning. However, despitethese achievements, she was searching for something deeper within herself. Describing that time, she says:

“I was working, I had experience, but I didn’t feel the deep impact I was looking for.”

The turning point began when she was introduced to WELL through one of her friends. Thissimple introduction turned into a different path. After an interview with the founder of theorganization, Dr. Fariba Parsa, she joined the WELL team; but what made this experiencedifferent was how it felt from the very beginning.

She recalls her first interaction:

“I didn’t feel like I was in an interview at all... it felt like I was talking to a member of my ownfamily.”

This sense of warmth and value was new to her; an experience that changed her view of theworkplace. She adds:

“In all my other interviews, I was stressed, but not here... this behavior gave me a sense ofworth.”

However, what attracted her most were the goals and mission of the organization. For her,WELL was not just a workplace, but a space where she could be part of real change. She says:

“When I saw the organization’s goals and its impact on society, it was amazing to me... Ibecame eager to work alongside women and be part of this journey.”

In her view, one of the most important features of this organization is its strong spirit ofteamwork—something rarely seen in many environments:

“If there is no teamwork in an organization, it feels lifeless and there is no progress.”

Today, Ati works at WELL as a web developer and webmaster. Her responsibilities includeupdating content, improving the website structure, and making access easier for users. She triesto create an experience where users can stay on the website comfortably and with interest.

She says about her work:

“It is important to me that people who visit the website can easily access information and feelgood.”

But what makes her working days different is not only technical tasks, but also the feeling sheexperiences:

“I feel like I am not just an employee; I feel like an important member of this team.”

She speaks with enthusiasm about her work environment and adds:

“I work with passion, and even the smallest thing I do is appreciated.”

Her experience at WELL has had a deep impact on her personal and professional growth. Shesays:

“This organization made me more professional... here, work is done with more precision and ata higher level.”

One of the most important skills she has gained is teamwork:
“In other organizations, I only worked, but here I truly learned teamwork.”

Even in challenges such as language, she was not alone. The team’s support helped herparticipate in international meetings and express her ideas:

“When my language was weak, they translated for me so I could share my opinion.”

This environment not only strengthened her skills but also changed her mindset. Today, she ismore interested in social projects, especially those focused on supporting women:

“This experience made me interested in social projects, especially for women.”

One of her most memorable experiences was implementing a project in a leadership class.Together with her team, she organized a clothing collection project for families in need andhelped around 20 families. For her, this experience reflected the true meaning of impact:

“I felt great that I was able to help.”

Ati believes that her role in the organization, especially in improving the website’s design andperformance, has helped attract and retain users. She also tries to publish content on time despitetime differences and fulfill her responsibilities in the best way.

Despite all these experiences, what has kept her at WELL is something beyond work:“Here, I feel like I am with my own family.”

Her view of the future is also clear and hopeful. She sees herself on a path of growth and aims towork as a senior webmaster or global consultant:

“With every task I do, I learn something new... my future feels bright.”
In one sentence, she describes WELL as:
“A place that strengthens women’s voices through awareness and connects them together.”And in the end, her message for those who want to start this path is simple but meaningful:“Join with motivation; here you can learn a lot and make a real impact.”
