Dan McComb is an Emmy-nominated Canadian-American filmmaker and senior editor who makes documentary films for clients that include the BBC, UW Medicine and the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence. His footage has contributed to films by Oscar-winning documentarian Alex Gibney and Emmy-winning director Kirby Dick. His most recent film, Ice Mermaid, follows Melissa Kegler on her attempt to swim farther and colder than any American.
